Regenerative Orthopedic PRP Injections
A Regenerative Approach to Joint Pain, Mobility & Function
Joint pain can affect much more than movement. It can interfere with work, exercise, sleep, hobbies, and the everyday activities that keep you independent and active.
At Regenerative Aesthetics & Wellness (RAW), we offer Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections as a regenerative treatment option for appropriate patients experiencing certain types of joint and musculoskeletal pain.
Rather than simply focusing on temporarily masking symptoms, PRP is designed to support the body’s natural healing response by concentrating platelets and growth factors from your own blood and delivering them directly to the targeted area.
Conditions & Areas We Evaluate
PRP may be considered for appropriately selected patients experiencing:
- Osteoarthritis
- Knee pain
- Hip pain
- Shoulder pain
- Joint pain and stiffness
- Certain tendon injuries
- Certain ligament or soft-tissue injuries
- Chronic musculoskeletal discomfort
- Pain or limitations affecting mobility and everyday activities
Every patient and every joint is different. A detailed evaluation helps determine the source of your symptoms and whether PRP may be an appropriate treatment option.
What Is PRP?
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is created from a small sample of your own blood. The blood is processed to concentrate platelets, which contain growth factors and proteins involved in the body's natural healing processes.
The concentrated PRP is then injected into the targeted treatment area. Because PRP comes from your own blood, it provides a regenerative approach that works with your body's natural biological processes.
Why Consider PRP for Joint Pain?
For appropriately selected patients, regenerative orthopedic PRP may offer an option for supporting healing and improving function without immediately progressing to more invasive treatment.
Treatment goals may include:
- Supporting the body's natural healing response
- Helping improve joint function and mobility
- Reducing pain and stiffness
- Supporting damaged or irritated tissues
- Helping patients return to everyday activities with greater comfort
- Providing a nonsurgical treatment option for certain musculoskeletal conditions
Results vary from patient to patient, and PRP is not appropriate for every type or severity of joint condition.
Our Goal Is More Than Pain Relief
The inspiration behind RAW's regenerative orthopedic services began with a desire to improve quality of life.
After seeing so many patients live with chronic pain that affected their mobility, independence, and ability to enjoy everyday life, Teresa Gieron, CRNP, wanted to provide additional options for people who felt they had tried everything.
Regenerative orthopedic treatments became an important part of that mission.
At RAW, the goal isn't simply to ask, "Where does it hurt?"
We want to know:
What is your pain preventing you from doing?
Whether that's walking comfortably, exercising, playing golf, gardening, keeping up with your family, or simply getting through the day with less discomfort, your treatment plan begins with understanding how your symptoms are affecting your life.
Your Pain. Your Goals. Your Treatment Plan.
PRP treatment is individualized based on your symptoms, medical history, examination, and treatment goals. A comprehensive consultation is required to determine whether regenerative orthopedic PRP is appropriate for you.
The goal is simple: help you move better, function better, and get back to more of the life you enjoy.
